Kitty Waybright, O.W.S., P.W.S. - Working in transparent watercolor, using a strong light and shadow pattern allows me to see and feel a subject regardless of its shape or actual form. I emphasize shadows, letting their shapes build up form. I start first with shadows that are painted very light, and once basic shapes are established it is push and pull all over the paper, building darks by glazing layers of color.
Kitty has signature memberships in the Ohio Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Whiskey Painters of America and Akron Society of Artists. A complete bio will be mailed upon request.
